Morocco is set to experience stable and relatively hot weather this weekend, especially in inland areas, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology. Temperatures are expected to range from 33°C to 38°C across the central and northern plains, as well as the southeastern regions and parts of the southern provinces.

More moderate temperatures will prevail in the Atlas Mountains and the Rif, offering some relief from the heat.

Weekend Conditions (Saturday–Sunday)
Hot and stable weather in most regions

Fog and low clouds likely overnight and in the early morning along the central coast and Western Sahara

Scattered thunderstorms possible in the Middle Atlas on Saturday

Partly cloudy skies over the High Atlas

Early Week Outlook (Starting Monday)
From Monday, weather conditions are expected to shift significantly:

Unstable weather will return to the High Atlas, Middle Atlas, Rif, and the eastern region

A noticeable drop in temperatures is forecast

Strong coastal winds are expected, especially along exposed shorelines

Authorities advise citizens to remain informed through daily weather updates, especially during heatwaves or strong wind events. Travelers and outdoor workers should take precautionary measures to avoid heat-related stress and stay safe during changing conditions.
